Game becomes too easy late-game?

I'm playing khuzaits and my clan is probably both richest and has the most powerful if we go by clan strength stat, has 10 fiefs(haters say I'm a little bit corrupt i say i was born in Azerbaijan this is nothing). Khuzaits itself has 13-14k kingdom strength while all the other factions have 5-4k , I'm planning to take over the khuzaits and not create a separate kindom via diplomacy mode so i wont have to face them directly, is there a reason or a mod that could've caused it or it's just always like this in late game? Because honestly it's not so challenging after a while. I'm playing everything on realistic and no hero deaths.
