My shield doesn't block crossbow bolts

I don't know if it's because of Floris, never encountered this bug in any other mod or vanilla but I can't block crossbow bolts they just ignore my shield even when I'm using a pavise and since I'm currently at war with Rhodoks it's very fucking annoying. Can I fix this?
