(POP) Befriending Noldor Quest Got Screwed. Any Suggestions?

Got the Befriending Noldor quest where you have to defeat a marauding Jatu army in the Laria woods. Their numbers were unbeatable so I lured them to My Kingdom's Marshal and his accompanying armies. I engaged the Jatu army within reach of the ally armies and we beat them, but the quest didn't complete. Not sure what to do from here.
