How to improve auto resolve outcomes?

I auto-resolve 90% of the fights I get into, what can I do for better results? Should I find 1-2 companions with high tactics skill and keep them in my party? Will that help? Do I have to assign them into any role? There is no slot for tactics role, is it enough if I just keep them in my party? As for sieges, should I keep a companion with high engineering skill and assign him in the engineering slot? Question about the steam version of Phantasy Calradia

Is the steam version censored in any way? the last time I remember playing the mod for any extended amount of time, I remember there being nudity and thinking "it's a shame I'll never be able to stream this game because of twitch's rules about nudity in mods." I recently reinstalled both Warband and mod after not playing either for quite a while, and noticed the nudity is now gone. This leads me to the question, is the steam version "censored" in that way, was the decision made to remove the nudity, or did I have some other mod that was causing it? I would like to start streaming the game at some point using the mod, and don't want to have to worry about whether the nudity will suddenly reappear after an update to the mod if it was some error or something along those lines.
