I fight for battania and we have conquered all of the west are moving east fighting the southern empire that has combined all three empires into one and is always at war with us bc of the quest. My issue is that whenever we capture a fief, there are only three options for who to give it to myself or two other lords. There are other lords in the faction but none of them ever pop up no matter how many fiefs we get. I have executed many, many lords during my time. I love defending castles and towns, love being outnumbered. It’s genuinely so much fun and I’d play a whole game based on that (i guess this kinda is that game😂) BUT, it’s not very rewarding. I just defended a castle in Aserai with 350 vlandians from 900 aserains. it was like 2 weeks in game time, 5-6 different siege attempts after we pushed them back, and after each battle i would see “you gained this loot and etc” and then my king came with an army to beat the remaining attackers, ending the siege. and that was it. i didn’t get any loots. no extra gold. i guess renown and influence is cool but with how many people i killed/fought, i would’ve assume i’d get gold. but nothing. am i wrong? do they give it automatically and i didn’t realize? submitted by /u/Diligent-Living882 [link] [comments]

Haven't been able to find one for the right edition. I'm aware the creater abandoned the project, and it was picked up by someone else on github / steam workshop. But yeah, I'm wondering if anyone managed to get it working for their game? I tried the old one (1.02 or something), but obv it ended up crashing my game anytime I went into battle. Nonetheless, I'm running 1.15 currently, but I've managed to get some mods working without any hitches/crashes from previous versions of the game (Improved Garrisons, LeaveOnClick, Diplomacy, Better Time, DynaCulture, etc etc). Lots of people criticize how limited M&B is when it comes to kingdom management, diplomacy and strategy, and while that's true it is still ground that other games have covered. For me the unique and cool thing about M&B is the "first-person command" where you get to lead a military party through the eyes of the commander, while practically every other game seems to be either a godmode RTS or some variant of the first/third person shooter. Unfortunately the implementation in M&B falls far short of the potential. Disclaimer, I've only played Fire and Sword, but when I see people playing Bannerlord it doesn't look much better. So I have seen the serve as a solider mod and it seems really interesting. Unfortunately I am on console. So I haven’t interacted much with the khuzait in bannerlord until now(first play through) and man have I messed up. For context I’m twenty yrs in as a Vlandian vassal.. we have conquered all of battania, and all but two western empire towns. Sturgia and the norther empire territories have been split in half between Vlandia and the Khuzait. Aserai and souther empire have been going back and forth for decades and the Khuzait have snatched a few territories from both in the process. Now I find myself battling massive Khuzait armies in sturgian territory and their horse archers are mowing S**t down!!! I love warband because it’s simple and easy to understand once you play for a few hours, there’s a meta that’s easy to achieve for the majority of modules including vanilla, you just win tournaments and then buy property and rinse and repeat until you can afford a giant scary army then steamroll the continent. It’s fun and simple. Then I excitedly bought bannerlord only to be met with a ton of added complexity, including multiple different characters in each city with independent quests and relationship numbers, blacksmithing, crime mechanics with crime lords and crime stats and options to scam people and pickpocket, tons of changes to the majority of warband mechanics, and probably a lot more I didn’t even encounter in my brief playtime / see any of in the few videos I watched. Not to mention the combat is now both more complex and more difficult, in warband you could solo like 100 people with a greatsword without taking like any damage, doesn’t really work out in bannerlord. So yea

I'm the ruler of my own kingdom that I founded, and I now control most of the map and have a bunch of vassal clans created from companions. For some reason, none of them are getting married/having children. Will this happen eventually or are they doomed to eventual extinction? So this happens a few times. But I stock my vassals up from troops in my fiefs.Probably 7 or 9 vassals in the army. And they slowly keep losing them. Thought maybe money, they all got around 5 k denars. Wasted a million denars giving them all some. But that can’t be the issue with 5 k in there pockets they can pay there troops. Okay so I’ve spent the last few months getting my head around starting a kingdom and have now finally got over the frustration and worked it out. Since I was desperately looking for a post like this I’d thought I would share my tips. Join a faction as a vassal and get granted a town or castle. It shouldn’t take long especially if said faction is at war. Once you have a fief or two leave the kingdom and become a fief owning clan. The faction you were with will declare war with you, since you are a clan no other factions will try to start a war. Use this time to expand your army and build relations with lords in the area, do missions for them and assist in battles if they are fighting against the original faction you started with and are now at war with. The best option is to have 1 fief that will become the main epicentre of your kingdom. This fief should be loaded up with a full garrison. Once you have about 500k (minimum) coin saved you are ready to start a kingdom. Once

I've been reading a book on Genghis Khan and when I started playing I knew I wanted to play as Khuzait! I became Monchugs vassal & joined his army while he was at war with the Northern Empire & Sturgia. Somehow his army got absolutely destroyed attacking a NE city and now Monchugs been taken as a prisoner of Lucon. I can only have a party of 76. Even when we have the numbers in a battle, every khuzait army I join gets absolutely wiped out. The khuzait armies constist of mostly infantry with a few cavalry. I've seen so many posts about how fierce khuzait horse archers are but it seems the AI khuzaits aren't recruiting horse archers much?? I've been taken prisoner so many times and luckily haven't died yet. I don't know what to do! Sturgia is claiming our north border slowly. As title says I was doing a horde game play and had rounded up and executed the northern emptier then got bored do went into a new campaign to play as a bandit only run through...... the next day I decided I'll hop on and go for the western empier. To my horror the only save on for it was before I went to war with anyone and only had about 76 khan's guards. Still a very green player, maybe 10-15 hours playtime. I've done three or four "gang leader needs weapons" quests during the early game to offset troop costs. On every occasion doing this quest, if I try to re-enter the city to give the gang leader their desired weapons, a guard will stop me at the gates telling me I can't be admitted with so many weapons. It's obviously part of the quest, because on any other occasion they don't care if I have 10 weapons or 100, so another 6 axes isn't going to raise any red flags. I can accept that it's a part of the quest challenge, however. Anyway, until tonight, I found the guard always returned my non-quest weapons when I left the city. On this occasion, however, my weapons seem to still be missing even after I completed the quest. Mod Idea Offer more roles you can assign a character companion towards for them to start earning their own POWER like other notables. Here’s the balance, The more you play the card/companion to your advantage and the more valuable a companions perks become, that in turns increases chances of desertion or rivalry (idk how the latter would implement as I’d imagine it requires a whole new set of logic code algorithms) The companion perks should have seperate effects from PERSONAL so we know exactly how taking that perk would benefit the “cause” without potential for undermining that same cause later down the road. Having a kingdom and fielding large armies, I’ve noticed when I battle another huge army (think 1k vs 1k) instead of fielding my elite troops I get maybe 30 of my top tier troops and the rest are lesser tiered friendly noble’s troops. Not only the type of unit fielded but the amount is uncontrollable as well. I have near 400 troops and I get 30 inf, 30 archers, and 30/40 cav and archer cav. It’s equal across the unit type but 30 inf of varying quality won’t stand against 60 top tier infantry and 60-90 top tier archers Not denying there could be some skill issue involved as well but simulate a battle so often gives me best results in the huge battles. I’m done with this game for awhile. I’m S. Empire and everyone goes to war with us so close to the same time, but that’s normal so whatever. But because of that we’ve all been in battania territory (S.E., Val, Asa.) fighting for territory. All our armies exchanging fiefs back and forth endlessly. Captured like 28 lords then move on to take Qasira and a 750 army and a 400 army come and I found a way to take them out and then peace. Haven't messed around with mods in awhile, but I used nexus mods. have the most up to date version of bannerlord Downloaded and added serve as soldier Serve as soldier says it needs harmony so I downloaded that Game crashed on launch I uninstalled all my other mods, including "game launch" The bannerlord launcher no longer started the game when I hit play with the mods selected I started going through the forum posts on nexus for serve as soldier, and saw something about 1.1.1.1 so I go into steam to manage bannerlord and change it to version 1.1.1.1 Launcher still does nothing when I hit play. reinstalled game launcher fix mod, still does nothing with play button change to regular version of the game, still does nothing Hoooooooolleeeeeeeeeeey fuck, I just want to load some mods to get a fresh take on my bannerlord games but I've literally wasted an hour of my life troubleshooting. Can somebody help me with the current crashes of my game? Like the title says everytime a direct dialogue openens in game it shuts down. For example if i get attacked by a warband it crashes, if i try to open a conversation for an quest by directly talking to people from the city screen the game shuts down. I was outnumbered by an enemy. So I placed my infantry in a square formation by dragging in shell formation. I placed my archers behind them in loose formation. And behind them my cavalry okey. I was going to use my cavalry to relieve my infantry flanks so that they didn’t get overwhelmed and my archers to shoot in to the sides of my flanking foes. why is it that when I siege a town I can only take like 80 guys at a time while the enemy gets to deploy 240 at once, we are evenly matched in troop totals but for some reason the ai just gets to field more men the me for no reason. Don't get me wrong the game is great. I've conquered over half the map, nearly wiping out the other imperial forces and Sturgia. Everytime I Play Khuzait I Get given one fief to Manage Everything before I can declare my own kingdom and As USUAL I Was given Tyal And Castles of Urikskala And Dinar (Later was given The Fort towards West of Tyal I don't remember the name of it) and Tyal is Usually more of a pain than Use. But this time When I took control of the Fief it was a Lvl3 Fort and Oh my Goodness is it Not Unbreachable. In A Later war against Sturgians they Sieged Tyal with me inside it. 140 Vs 980 and later 1100~ I usually don't like Sending troops when Sieging/Defending forts bc for some reason I never lose. So I Built my Catapults and Waited for their Attacks and I Slaughtered the Sturgians in an Uphill Battle with 4 CASUALTIES. 4. 4! 3 Injured 1 Dead! I have played again the game after hiatus of 1 year so the game was still on early access back then. I only play on Freebooter and the most that I do is just be a vassal (also never want to form a kingdom/empire). Considering I just want an easy campaign and just want my liege to conquer all of Calradia, here are the hurdles which I think are unnecessary in Freebooter: Eliminating a kingdom/faction requires more than conquering all of their fiefs. You also have to execute them which gives me a dislikeable trait. Also, imagine catching all the small party bastards one by one. There should be an option as part of Freebooter that this is not needed. Rebellion. I do not know how to manage rebellion especially as a vassal but this pops up more often than not because the owners are not of the same culture. I am playing Freebooter so I do not wish to keep dealing with this rebellion every now and then. I also observe that rebellion happens more often when we are in deep war with another

So I was doing fairly well this playbthrough. I have started my clan and rescued my brother and even have a few of companions. I’m decently geared for early game and had a small warband of 49. These were mostly just infantry with a handful of archers but my companions are mounted. I had 10000ish denars in the bank and was looking forward to buying some passive income from one of the cities… That’s until I accepted a caravan escort mission… The caravan was attacked three!!! Yes three!!! Separate times by different bandits with a party of 50ish troops but they were all 75%ish mounted archers and 25% cavalry. Don’t get me wrong I still won all three encounters but holy shit did they take a toll. But the end of the last battle my main character had fallen in battle and I had 13 troops who were still able to fight with 20 wounded and the rest dead. Maybe my tactics were shot but all I could think to do was order my infantry into a circle formation and use my handful of cavalry to ride th

When you reach the point where you're mass executing every lord you capture after a battle and there is a seemingly endless amount, especially with lords from factions that no longer exist, it's time to take step back and wonder if they should be dialed back. Especially with how many settlements there are. I understand that Warband is a very old game, but from a gameplay perspective there's too many to deal with and you can't even find them at their fief a majority of the time. I snapped after Khuzait declared war on the western empire for the umpteenth time and started to execute every lord I got my hands on. Peace was declared real quick. why does the "save" button just simply overwrites the last save that you had, I was defending the city that I put in a lot of time and money, and after losing and wanting to try to defend from the siege for the second time by loading the last save, I accidentally clicked on save instead of load, and I just lost probably a couple if not a dozen of hours of gameplay because the save got overwritten. Okay, I got the game soon after it got released, but didn't quite like it then and waited for the updates. I've started playing as a vassal of the Southern Empire, managed to assemble an army of cca. 1400 men and besieged a city of Khuzaits with cca. 400 defenders. From M&B Warband, I remember it worked as sieging castles, I'd only rush the ladders, but here it seems it's a bit more tactical since I lost this siege pretty quickly. I don’t like making back to back rant posts but that animation where you’re on your horse and either run into a fence, wall, a random stick on the ground or a single line of soldiers and your horse just suddenly wants to stop completely and stand up on its back legs, its every single time istg and it does nothing but make you take an irritating amount of damage to yourself and the horse like theres no way that this massive horse running super fast cant run through 4 people grouped together? or what about when you’re on a horse running through the forest n everytime you hit a tree it does the same animation, yeah I know it just really depends on the person because personally I like just riding around with a spear more than being on the ground but could the devs not make some kind of alternative animation or anything other than the same animation everytime? 😭 submitted by /u/Responsible_Dare_250 [link] [comments]

All the other kingdoms are down to less than 3 towns each. The kingdoms without any towns or castles just constantly raid my villages. I can’t stop them or my own kingdom from waiving war. They’re like mosquitos. I can’t execute anyone without destroying my relations with virtually everyone in the game, and I can’t imprison them for long because they always escape. I'm At War with The empire( unified) and Due to a gruelling 5 phases of Battle we have somehow managed to capture 90 NOBLES of their faction.
