The Best Armor I have Ever Found

I have played several thousand hours of Bannerlord. This is the only time in all of those hours that I have ever found a Tier 6 Legendary chest armor piece. I found this for sale in a town. Did the southern empire get a buff recently?

I'm playing a campaign now where they have all but wiped out the Khuzaits and the northern empire with very minimal effort.

I've joined them as a vassal but I haven't really done anything to help out during sieges, except for providing a few extra troops here and there and picking off archers on the walls of castles and cities.
