Seiging army loot question

So I was besieged by an army they had 2400 troops I had 1500. Using the ambush to reduce the health of their seige engines and my fire pots thrown on the troops I forced them to retreat after a battle Got the victory screen, it says I get blah blah percent of the loot etc. But there was no loot or prisoner screen. The seige continues, they rebuild & heal, I ambush, they attack, victory screen.... This happened three times, eventually the enemy army lost cohesion and their parties dispersed. I was down to about 200 unwounded troops so I decided not to persue them. My question is what happened to all the prisoners, loot and experience? I got my settlement, and learned something new.

So i am playing as Nord and wanted Hargard as my main fief. I had Balgard, but am not a fan of defending that sturgian town.

I looked online and found i could either wait for it to be taken and then try to earn it back in a vote, or get to 300 trade skill and buy it off the owner. Figuring how rare I see enemies make it that far north, buying it would be easier. But after a while a clan abandoned the Nord Faction, I was able to take it and win the vote. All in all great for me.

What i didnt know though was npc clans can abandon their cultural faction? I thought they could only do that if you made a kingdom of your own
