The most successful campaign I'm yet to play in Bannerlord. PS5 w/ controller. Just playing the base game but with War Sails installed.
| What you're looking at: I just tried taking Charas by siege after assembling an army and having my rival swoop in to steal the glory. The only clan in Battania that hates me for killing Derthert* was gifted Sargot then came in and stole control over the siege I was gonna win. Caladog LOVES me so when Charas was taken I was gifted the city even when I spent influence to vote it went to my rival (who for some reason only judges me on what i did to Valandia)... then rebels took control of Sargot, almost took Charas as well but luckily I had a Valandian companion who I put as governer, put all my Fian Champs and a load of other decent troops in to the Garrison and managed to complete a mission for the only notable in the city who I had a negative relation with. Loyalty was under 20 and dropping at 2 a day... then slowly that dropped to 1 by the time it was at 10... as rebellion will happen at anything under 25 and most of my good troops were committed to the Garrison, it was squeaky bum time. Went on Looter Patrol, too. Now we don't face rebellion, loyalty is positive by 1.99 AND then Valandia begged us for peace followed by a trade agreement. The only way to Charas is to the East (and who we're allies with) or a small valley from the North via our new Valandian friends. Now to find Caladog's daughter and marry her before I start my own kingdom. This is the best campaign I've ever had!!! What's the best position you've found yourself in still early-ish game? I was tier 4 and under level 20 when I was gifted the castle. *Derthert was caught unaware near Charas having 100 to my 140 troops and 1/3 of his were tier 1, mine all 4-6. Didn't know if I'd have a chance to catch him again let alone in that condition so I got a little execution happy. Worth it!!! [link] [comments] |
