Help! New to Warband, and I don't know what this dialogue is suppose to contain. Pictures inside

Bumping in to other Vassals, I can ask them what they think about the King and so forth, then the dialogue where I say Well, I have something to tell you.. Then he says Yes? and it leads to a Nevermind. What can I do to fill in that dialogue?
