I have recently just started a new character as a woman with the intent to join the sarranids and conquer the world, I am still early in the character I am still a mercenary for the sarranids and we are currently at war. I lost a battle resulting in Ymira being captured and when I try to break her out of prison during the escape she attacks me. if you guys played viking conquest you'll remember that the player can build a hideout, it was mostly for storing soldiers and items and had an inn and a place for the player. my suggestion is a player hideout in bannerlord but a better version than VC, make it like a village and add missions like helping refugees from the war or a runaway slave to settle in it and build it and they pay u a tax (maybe tax increases a little when u help more people) just like a fief but the size of a village and customizable u can build an inn and house for the player and more things this way if u play as a mercenary you can get an extra income from the hideout and u can have a sort of a fief submitted by /u/SIRANO98 [link] [comments]

I recall that one of the aims for the final build is for every settlement to have a unique layout. I'm fuzzy on whether that's just for the main cities or if that applies to literally every settlement (from castle to village), but from what I understand, several such locations have been implemented in the current build of the game. Every time I load my game, my banner gets reset to be my faction (Vlandia's) colors. I have to edit/paste the banner code each time. Title says it all; skin and hair color default to the lightest colors when switching to another gender in the character creation menu- meaning female characters all start off pale regardless of Culture choice. All other creation information still gets saved besides that, afaik. Playing the latest version. Why can't games in general, and M&B in particular, accurately depict spears, the dominant primary weapon system on the battlefield for the vast majority of human history? Games require balance whereas real life does not. The lance is already the best weapon from horseback and the pike already the best anti-cavalry weapon. If the spear was also the primary weapon of infantrymen, gamers would complain of a lack of balance between types. This leads into... The game mechanics are not sophisticated enough to replicate the advantages and disadvantages of spears. Lindybeige and SG have done some great videos on what circumstances impact the performance of spears, and most of these are not captured in gameplay. A. Spears are extremely effective in formation fighting and less so in a 1v1 duel. I bought Bannerlord long ago in March and for the first few weeks it worked perfectly fine, no lag at all. Until, suddenly, I tried playing it after an update and it started lagging like crazy. This is just what I've gathered by the map relations, obvious faction similarities, and faction placements. If there's any holes in this please let me know, I'm trying to get a better understanding of how the factions changed, so this is what i think i know, please let me know if anything is wrong. The first obvious thing is that the empire is non existent in Warband, so they we're conquered and fizzled out. The kingdom of Nords would have come from the Sturgians expanding west across northern Battania and Vlandia, and probably taking some cultural influence from the sea raiders. Either this or the west that they had conquered was then conquered by the sea raiders. I only say this because I remember someone in Warband saying that the Nords came from the sea raiders somehow. The Vaegers would likely be a cultural mix of mostly Sturgia and a dash of Battania, Since they seem to occupy much of what was Sturgia and about half of what was Battania. Looking at the Vaegers...

I wanted to use the BearmyBanner MCM version for my game. So as you can see in the first Picture i downloaded MCM and the requiered mods for it (Harmony,ButterLib,UIExtenderEx). Then i had several issues with the load order off all the MCM stuff and finally got the BUTRLoader for that. Now i got the right load order and everything but the Mod Options aren't there in the Menu (Pic2). Even if i use ModLib there are no Mod Options and i dont know the issue. And to make it more difficult , the Bear my Banners mod is in the Game but it dont works because i have no mod menu. So I control about 1/3 of the Map and my kingdom is growing. When my kingdom had only 3 clans (me and 2 others), I always had the possibility to vote for myself in kingdom decisions. Höherer, I do have 5 other clans in my kingdom (beside my clan) and I simply cannot vote anymore for myself after a castle/City has been sieged. I Read in a other post that I should take away the castle and start a recast, but that only worked once so far. Any advice? I complete the rebuild clan quest, I rescued my young siblings, and the brother said to meet him at a settlement. I went to said settlement and he had an blue exclamation mark so I tried to interact with him and nothing new except for the generic dialogue kept coming up and the option to have him join the party. After joining at every small village I visit there is an exclamation mark on the walk around town option but the brother appears in the town and he is the only know with the mark with the same generic lines. Arazogos directed me to what is usually the forest bandit hideout to collect the flag piece as is his habit, when I realized it was a mountain bandit hideout. After i entered i was disappointed to see it was just mislabeled. It was still full of arrow bois. It got me thinking though. Do I give up this play through until they patch it? Basically bucellarii, in their current state, are a very redundant troop type. There are two other lvl 26 cav archers from two other factions that are of an "eastern" flavor. I suspect I'm missing something obvious, but how do you lock in which unit type you're issuing orders to on a controller? Town is at maximum upgrade, held it for 20 in game years, have food at +49, 300+ garrison + 200 militia, govern by brother najun with max stewardships skill, set fairgrounds as main activities and surrounding villages never get looted nor is the town ever being siege for years, yet the loyalty keep decreasing, previously in 1.5.5 the loyalty were always at green, try to get the policy that give +2 loyalty but the other lords are morons and rejected it, no one support it. Seems the major reason for this is loyalty drift, what is this? How to reduce this, what cause this? I am new to the Mount and Blade series and have been enjoying Bannerlord since I picked it up a couple weeks ago. I watched a couple starter guide videos and then jumped in and I am sitting at around 10 hours now and am pretty content with where I am at. I’m currently level 6 prioritizing putting points into 1H, Riding, Bow, and Steward. I have purchased my first companion who has 160 skill in 1H and have assigned him as my Quartermaster and I have an Army of around 23 men ranging from Cavalry, Ranged, and an array of infantrymen (Legionnaires, Veterans, Metavilion or however you spell it, etc.) I have completed that first main quest and received the next one to raid the camp where my brother or sister is being held with Radagos. I have about 15k saved up and am looking to buy a workshop as my next step towards progressing in the game. Rebels were added in beta branch, but I already see potential of it. I was thinking about quest connected to rebellion, and that is what I want to discuss. Support rebels of / Town|Castle name / Player needed to sneak into enemy city, and try to start rebel mood to grow by gain support from merchant and gang leaders, but not in one day(or player will be caught). After some time you have to lead the rebels and choose or you take over city by force(siege but in bad militia equipment and without taking walls) or by diplomacy(convince city lord to leave). It will also include new keep fight that was added in 1.5.6. Based of what you choose and who support you in progress rebellion clan will be created with some special behavior for AI to, for example, support rebels in diplomacy or kill then on sight. Havn't found anyone else talking about this. Tried restarting my game, starting a new game, waiting for different seasons but basically all water from the rivers is gone. I can hear the sfx from flowing water and still see waterfalls producing the white "splash" effects. I've cheked and there are like little pools of water about the size of your campaign map model here and there in different river ways but the rivers aren't full. But recently I want to try something I haven't tried before I want to create a new character from scratch and mod the game in such a way that makes the veiwing experience unique. I was curious if there are any mods, or ways i could play the game to be both unique to watch, but also immerses myself and others into our character. Any feedback or thoughts I will appreciate. I want to create a Google document and update what happens to my character after each session, I will have unique goals i have to complete and rules to follow. Hello, ​ I played quite a bit of this game when it launched: 200+ hours - that was earlier this year, since than I have put maybe 10-20 hours in over the last few months as I felt I had really done all I wanted, That is; without starting my own kingdom. I had tried it before but it was missing so very much, most importantly I could not hand Hero/companions fiefs without an endgame trader skill perk. ​ The developer has been incredible with patches, oh so many patches. I discovered there is a place in the towns where you can fight against bullies and afte that you get bad relationships with one of the bullies who rules the backstreets and good relathionship with its rival, apart of the loot. And i wonder if i can make a character around that idea and how to build it and more important how many things can i do focusing in this way of life. I know can play as a merchant and just make money, getting rich and, eventually buying feuds from lord without fighting a single battle, but how playable is becaming a streetdog? So everything was going all fine until today, the option to put the sergeants in charge of my units is gone. Usually I use it for my horse archers but it's just not there anymore. Any ideas anybody? Is it just me, or the option to toggle death in battle disappeared after Bannerlord has updated to 1.5.5 mainline today? The 1.5.5 version became "stable" today, but the option to toggle death in battle completely disappeared from the Campaign Options menu.
