I have been testing quite a bit Naute vs Legionaries as I want to make a Infantry playthrough with Empire only units and I noticed Legionaries are just ass now. Naute even with worse armor just outperform and that even in battles where they are outnumbered and/or fight mixed armies against t5/t4 with archers and cav. Hey, if anyone else thinks Bannerlord's combat is terrible and wants to keep playing Warband like me the Persistent Kingdom mod is doing well on peak North American hours consistently getting 100+ people. For those who don't know what this is it's basically an open world multiplayer mod with resources and castles and crafting and clan wars and the like.
Also getting into it as a new or returning player might be a little rough at first and maybe a little toxic lol so you should probably pair up with a clan to have frens to watch your back and not get all your iron ore stolen. The Templars are doing well now, pm me if you're interested otherwise the other clans are solid too minus Lannister lol
