What is fast mode?

Imput lag?

Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing lag when they try to do anything? If i were to try and get my guy to move left it would take half a second before he does. It is also taking much longer to block, and turning is also getting delayed. Is anyone also experiencing this problem? I got the game on GOG is that helps.
