Can other Kingdoms set traps for you?

I'm at war with 4 factions, Rhodoks, Vaegirs, Nords and Khergits. I attempted to make peace with King Graveth, he declined. But before I left, he asked me if I could send some of my men to help somebody that is "dear" to him. I want to say yes, but I'm wondering if it's a possible trap?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
