Is there a bit more peaceful way to finish a kingdom than the chopchop?

I went to war with Aserai and took down all their fief and also turned every Aserai vessel into mine. It was done rather easily. Now the problem is the leader clan. They run around the former Aserai area with like 10~30 troops and get captured from time to time by guards and looters and stuff.

I want my back to be clear and safe before going to war with South Empire but don't want to start the chopchop... Anyway to settle this down or something more peacefully? I hate to see negative perks seriously...
