Is anyone else finding it difficult to level up charm for family members?

Is there a feature or mod where I can see why a faction declared war?

I recall playing Warband (almost a decade ago) with a bunch of mods installed. In my game, there would be a reason given for the declaration of war. For example, "the Kingdom of Swadia declared war on the Kingdom of the Nords to recover lost lands." Is there a feature I can enable or a mod I can download for this? Thanks!
