Anybody else like to shield a handful of troops from the arrow storm

When outnumbered and on a defensive position, I like to stand in front of a few of my soldiers in the shield wall and shield them from the storm of arrows until the enemy gets close enough to bait them into charging us. Anybody else do this?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
