Inherit the Throne

I am the all powerful sultan of Aserai, conqueror of the lands, and bane of outlaws. That is to say, I pretty much conquered the map as elected Aserai sultan, and got nothing left to do, but trade and destroy bandit lairs.

So what happens when I die? Is there an election for the next sultan or does one of my kids inherit the throne? I'm 61 now, have three sons and a daughter. It's been said that in the game of thrones you either win or die, so it may be time to do some estate planning. Going to find an honest, but politically incapable old school companion of mine and make him my hand to start with.

On a side note: I've destroyed all factions, but Northern empire, whom I was at peace with through the end, as I was fighting the vlandians and sturgians together. Now they have but six castles, and surprisingly my lords just let them be without any war declaration for a few years now. Also prices on goods are down, especially food. Some of the best trading was selling food after winning a siege. The price of peace... I am starting to miss war. Perhaps I should start a quest to find the FIFA peace prize, old legends say it triggers Armageddon.
