STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. Mod that changes culture bonuses?

Cultures are horribly balanced, and most are completely useless.

Is there a mod that changes/rebalances them?

Give the nords an actually impactful boost when on water.

Give Sturgians their snow boost back.

Etc, etc.

It sounds so much easier than all the massive overhauls out there, but somehow i can't find any.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
