Got my first castle... What now?

So in Warbands I would get a few villages -> castle -> city hopefully. Now in Bannerlords I got my first castle with 2 (plundered..) villages, so I want to know how most players would proceed from here. Castle is Thractorae, I am part of Vlandia. My bill jumped considerably, I have now expenses of -1.6k per day, roughly 600 party, 1k garrison, and income of 400 settlement and 200 tribute for a daily -1 k net income. I currently have around 29k in my bank, so have a bit until it runs critical. I realize I can always just fire a big part of the garrison, but thats not what I want to do. I would like to know: how can I increase my income effectively, is it worth investing into villages if they just get looted, and if yes how, and how you guys try to expand from castle to receiving city. submitted by /u/Ynwe [link] [comments]

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
