Need some advice on Greenskin troops in Old Realms

Ive been playing as an orc boss, currently I just turn all my troops to melee infantry, wether its goblins or orcs, but is it a good idea? I do this because I noticed orc archers sucks in my experience, melee orcs do the most killing,

but I wonder if theres a better option?
