I hate Horse Archers

Why did I decide to sign up with the northern empire as a Merc whilst they were fighting the Khuzaits? I've never fought them before and the one time I don't go with a decent horse rider because I want to fight on foot, this happens. War sails rundown

Used to play Banner a lot (600 hours). Havent played at all since right beforr war sails came out. Just got the DLC. Can someone give me a list of the most important changes? Like some nerfs, some improvements, surprises etc.
