I hate Horse Archers

Why did I decide to sign up with the northern empire as a Merc whilst they were fighting the Khuzaits? I've never fought them before and the one time I don't go with a decent horse rider because I want to fight on foot, this happens. How to eradicate the empire?

I am fighting the united empire for ages, taje cities and castles, but can´t take the remaining 5 cities because they are defended with 1500+ units and I cant get abigger army than 1600, so I fail everytime.

I ahd a new idea of simply executing every enemy lord, but they seem to grow back altough aging is off. I killed about 200 lords, but the faction has it´s 20+ lords easy peasy. How to end this mess?
