How to raise castles' loyalty?

I have experience pre DLC. Basically just picked festival. Now there is no such options for castle? How im i supposed to run around finding same-culture wanderers just to govern my 300-denar a day castles? Not to mention there is a companion cap?

Is there a way to do this as easily as before?
