STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. New Sea Raids

The new sea raids just dropped on the 1.4 beta. Is anyone trying them out, and is anyone having issues with them? Every time i try to do one it just crashes my game. I've tried dropping settings, making a new save and grinding out a ship to try them, and uninstalling, wiping all my local files and it still crashes upon the "done" button after selecting troops to bring to raid.
