Clan strength

hello, I was wondering if there is any way to quickly improve your clan strength? Cause I'm stuck at 2090, and it seems i can't go any higher even though I have 4 active parties and 2 caravans (i have in total 12 clan members including my wife and 2 children that are still to young to be playable), and each one is set to have an unlimited amount of gold to spend. Why do new clans spawn with no female members?

If you make a new clan by rewarding one of your companions, the new clan spawns with only male members (unless it was a female companion you rewarded).

Let's say you've formed a new kingdom and you're trying to populate it with clans, if there are no women, these clans are basically doomed to die out.

It seems like a really odd design choice.
