What the hell did they do to Fennagan?

Bro used to have 275 in every combat stat and now he has… 50 two handed? 120 athletics? He and Caladog were the gatekeepers of Battanian tournaments, now they’re just battanian recruits with fancy armor. Arwa gutted, Corein gutted, every tournament is weenie hut junior? Help installing a Mod (Warband)

New to the game, loving it so far, but I always love mods. So Installed a small armor mod, but know i want to install this mod and I'm having problems. I copied and pasted the files but it just made the game CTD on startup, so I had to salvage the game, luckily i had a Native backup. So how does oen go about installing this, and how would I test it (via cheats etc).
