Tactics to win any battle with aserai as southern empire

Make a elite cataphract force of 50 than charge them to their horse division. Elite cataphracts are superior in all ways. Then, charge the horses on to the pikeman and archers then charge the soldiers and arrows. Dont forget that these has to be mostly legionaries. I hope my tips help. submitted by /u/Visible_Tax7920 [link] [comments]

Is warband better than bannerlord?

I was playing warband due to it being on gamepass, I had played freeman guerrilla warfare (mount n blade with guns), now i usually don’t care too much about graphics but seeing the bannerlord was out I bought it. Now when I look I see a lot of people saying that it isn’t as good and all, is warband better? Submitted July 31, 2021 at 07:52PM by Spforza https://ift.tt/2V9w1MK

The game should have assassinations

Hear me out, you should be able to assassinate lords but it should be very expensive and the more troops in the party the lower the chance of success. Also if you fail you have a chance of losing a lot of relation with lords. Submitted July 31, 2021 at 02:29PM by Eitanprigan https://ift.tt/3j1IvxS

Is it worth replaying the game now? Old player looking for a game

I played this game 12-14 months ago and it was in a terrible state. You couldn't make your own kingdom without getting destroyed by the big dogs. The main quest was bugged and uncompletable. Almost all the skill tree wasn't implemented. The only way to play that was somewhat fun was to murder all the lords being factionless (which I did) by abusing those OP archers (heros I think?). Have things improved since then? Is it worth revisiting? submitted by /u/Yalpe18 [link] [comments]

Got laid waiting to raid a hideout

Playing as a woman. Started with Vlandia, carved a piece in Western empire, then rebelled. In the midst of the bloodbath, I marry a northern empire lord called Encurion, and have him join me as a companion. Then came the hard part of him doing the deed. He. Just. Won't ! I'm a busy woman, I have battles to fight, and limited time to rest. Yet, I still worked hard to spend a day or two in random towns every once in a while, spend time in villages for some romantic atmosphere, crash the night on random unhappy castle vassals, but all in vain. Encurion couldn't do it. One day, we're resting in Lageta, and notice a hideout near primessos. I'm bored as hell, and need anything to distract me from my miserable marriage. Ride to the hideout, and miss the attack time by a mere hour. So we wait there till the next midnight. Out of all the freaking luxurious places we have, Encurion found it sexy and in him to do his duty for the first time ever on the outskirts of a rotte...

Follow up - I'm now playing Tablut on the go. Can't stop, won't stop.

Why does the game make me the douchebag

Does anyone else find it kind of douchy when everytime you go to fight someone, the guy/girl always says "I have no desire to fight you" and you basically tell them to stfu and draw up? Why? You chased me across the whole map and then you say that when I turn and engage. Why cant they ever just insult me or my mom so I feel better when I stomp them into next year. Instead they make ne out to be the warmonger (we arent talking about the fact that it's probably true) submitted by /u/Zyrexius [link] [comments]

Real smooth, TaleWorlds!

Ok, I'm not sure if this is already known on the sub or not, but I just found out about it myself. As it turns out (according to the Ukrainian MnB site commando.com.ua), TaleWorlds Studio got together with NetEase Games, Poptoys and Coomodel, and made collectable Bannerlord-themed figurines (or are these action figures? it's kinda hard to tell based on the pictures). They're made of plastic with bits made of leather and fabric, maybe some metal. The thing is, these are exclusive to the Chinese market, and not even the official TW site mentions this anywhere (at least, not that I know; maybe the Chinese page does?). There are several figurines available, most are of troops, but there are of horses too. I'd share a link, but I don't think many would trust a Chinese site (I know I don't, plus it's all in Chinese anyway). Here are some pics: https://preview.redd.it/yscu9b2qrie71.jpg?width=790&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f2b0fe26ac3378ad8ba49624b460...

Is there a way to divorce as woman? lol

I wanna die. Listen, my last post I was wondering how to get married (properly) as a woman, I wanted a man with a castle, but he ended up marrying some wicked witch , and I settled for some asshole with a mere village. I wanted to use my high relation with him to help him conquer a castle, and get him ownership of the castle, I was working really hard to do this, and even had my elite army mangled over it. I was in the process of that, but suddenly this dude lost his fiefs, and... is now a 'count' of the Rhodocks, I'm Vaegirs and while i'm VERY curious on how that happened, I want to divorce him! Because he's useless now. I don't have cheats enabled. And on Google it seems to not be possible - But someone said if you go to war with the faction he's in it would break the marriage? I don't wanna lose honor if this isn't true. Submitted July 31, 2021 at 02:14AM by Carpet-Agitated https://ift.tt/3lcNH4I

Culture of clan members

This really needs to be displayed on the tooltip for anyone you hover over. The drilldown required to find this basic information if you're not in the right window is pretty rough. The UI in general needs a lot of work, but when you are late game trying to find and recruit qualified governors for settlements, this just takes all the wind out of my sails and I go play something else. Such a simple thing. That, and showing if a character is pregnant in the tooltip (if you missed the notice for it). So simple... submitted by /u/builder680 [link] [comments]

Cannot Edit Specific Details of Empire Ranged Units (Name, Weapons, Face.)

Hello, I am completely stumped. I am editing units in the "spnpccharacters" xml file to edit the Empire roster. I completely renamed and rearmed the infantry without problems (I did them first). But when I try to edit the ranged units I can only edit their armor/clothing, not their "item(s)" aka what they wield. I also can't even rename them. I'm not renaming their ID's, just what appears in game. For example, I tried making the "Imperial Archer" use western javelins and a gladius instead of a bow, took away his arrows, and I changed his clothing. It equips him with the gladius and gave him the hat and clothes I wanted, but no javelins and kept the bow and arrows that I deleted (the bow and arrows were not in the equipment code). This happens with every ranged units in the roster. My code seems to be fine, I crossed referenced it with the original file and my editor, Brackets, detects no fault in code. Any ideas? I appreciate any help. ...

When Launched, Game doesn't load At All.

For the past month or so, I've been trying to get back into Bannerlord after a near-6 month hiatus. The moment I load the launcher (from steam and the C: drive), I go to single-player, and once I press play, with or without Mods, it doesn't even load: it's just like a clear screen but SOMEHOW the launcher is working alike a background process. How the heck do I fix this? Also, I'll post a video once I get on PC. Edit: I have Uninstalled and reinstalled, verified the game files, and even searched up possible answers to no avail, one of the more prime possibilities that had been to no avail was unblocking all .dll files. submitted by /u/UnderstandingSlow680 [link] [comments]

Making money in the new beta patch (1.6)

So I bought Bannerlord a couple months ago, having played warband for about a year and loving it, and quickly found out about the whole javelin smithing exploit. When I updated to the new beta patch I noticed that smithing wasn’t as lucrative as before. I wanted to ask if you guys knew of any other quick money-making avenues that work in the new patch, as I find that the late game is a lot more entertaining for me. Guys, give me a guide that is up to date

I have already 50 hours in this game but I always get kind of stuck, too many troops and not enough gold or I loose my army in a battle and I need to start from the beginning with new recruits that take an eternity to train only to lose them again. Tried buying a workshop (far away from where I was playing and I looked up the production in the near by villages), made only 100 gold and after 25 days it started making less and less gold. Most of the gold from the beginning is made only in tournaments because I do not know any other option (looters are way to poor, bandits way to strong). Also tried joining up a faction as a mercenary only to lose my army again in every fucking battle because I do not know what the hell is wrong with the AI. So, I am begging you from the bottom of my miserable life, give me a good guide or just tell me how are you guys playing this game. submitted by /u/MrDanGrigore [link] [comments]

I feel like the next step in terms of gameplay, is making lords more unique with things like preferred type of troops, or even unique troops to certain lords.

A certain lord may favour heavy infantry, but overall have weak arches. Meanwhile, another lord is the opposite, with maybe even some unique troops. Every faction leader could have unique troops, ie a Kingsguard. Heavily armored knights for Vlandia, Varangian Guard for the Empire, etc. Then some lords, perhaps only the most influential ones that own a city and is a clan leader can have a unique troop, to highlight their preference. If their army prefers heavy infantry, give them a unique heavy infantry unit they will only have a small amount of, but be extremely deadly. With these things, lords can form alliances, and coordinate joint assaults, instead of just assembling an army every 10 minutes in game. A lord who prefers heavy infantry, but have weak archers, may form an alliance with a lord who has good arches, but weak infantry, meaning they wont form an army, but they will walk closely together, and raid together. Protect one another, and fight side by side. It would make the l...

Does anyone know why the price of my tributes is so high? After the southern empire (the one im in) made peace with khuzaits my tributes have been so dang expensive, 800 denars nearly every day. I started my kingdom small with one castle and was friends with the vaegir thinking things were great and got back stabbed and they declared war out of nowhere so…I stopped for nothing till they were dust and gone. As I was wiping the Vaegir from the planet the Khergit declared war and I wiped about 50% of them and they promptly requested peace. And then……the Rhodok who I had in the friendship area of relations declared war right after declaring peace with Khergit. So i read through the post, saw all the deleted comments and the mod post, and, yeah fair enough I can put together what happened there. But in that poll i saw someone mention this community was more toxic than the grand strategy game communities, wich got me curious. First i'd want to actually verify that since, you know. Is boosting relation worth the effort?

I've read that for convincing people to join your kingdom, their relative riches and fiefs will outweigh their opinion. I've also yet to see how having a high relation with a sovereign affects whether or not they declare war on you. Is it better to take prisoners and execute them, and conquer the country once there aren't any lords? Or would even ransoming them for money be more worth it than the relation boost for letting them go? submitted by /u/CustomOppai [link] [comments]

Golden Throne Guide as requested

Ok. I have just obtained this achievement and decided I would write an in depth guide. The one solution already here I feel isn’t deep enough, I certainly could have done with more information prior to my attempt. In general information on obtaining this is fairly scant. I did this on my first attempt becoming a vassal of the birds initially. Ok here goes; EARLY GAME This is a grind. No way round it. First decision to make is what you want the make up of your army to be. I chose exclusively Nord for the first half of my game, and concentrated on getting as many huscarls as possible. My reasoning for this being they are by far the strongest infantry unit in the game. If used correctly, they can batter an approaching line of enemies with brutal missiles before cutting through a horde like butter with the right control. Anyway I digress. Choose your army style. Then concentrate on recruiting volunteers from villages whilst levelling up yourself and your character. It’s worth visiting ...

Giving equipments to companions?

I was wondering if you can give your compainons weapons horses or armours like you could in warband? Help winning a war

So I'm playing apart of the Khuzaits right now and things have taken a turn south. The was first started with the southern empire sieging down on of our castles, in response we came down and killed 200 while losing around 10. I then seperated from the army and went to go do some of my own conquests, (hunting down random enemy parties with around 40 troops and ransoming their lord for some cash.) The war was going even better as I killed around 200 enemy troops and we won some battles around the enemy capitol, killing about 400 more enemies while only losing around 40. Then Mochung decided to be stupid. He gathered 500 men and laid siege to the enemy capitol. This encited him getting attack by 18 parties with 40 men in each. He got swarmed to death and was taken captive. Things have only gotten worse since then, we have lost another 800 men due to failed sieges and though I have killed another 200 men, I can't win the war when I have a party of less than 160. Dying of wounds

It has dawned on me that Bannerlord is a medieval game. No, I'm not thick, hear me out. But you see, troops always get healed when they get wounded. Now medieval medical knowledge wasn't renowned for, from my knowledge. So it should be fair that, say, of a warband with 100 wounded troops, at least 30 of those wounded troops should die, for various reasons. Of not adequate treatment from the times, severe wounds, or just the simple plain fact that life on the campaign is brutal. submitted by /u/King_Derthert [link] [comments]

Why are you all having on Bannerlord

I don't understand why everyone is hating on Bannerlord. I see people saying that it feels hollow but I feel like warband also feels hollow. I mean I don't want to sound like that one guy whining about how multiplayer got broken and he can't kill people in full plate armor with a wooden sword anymore, but I just don't understand why you all hate Bannerlord so much. I have around 80 hours in warband, and it is fun, but in my opinion it is so breakable. You can just steal cattle for 20 minutes before getting a big enough army to just raid villages and sell that stuff for 10k. Next thing you know your have the strongest army in the world and 200k denars. Also when I said they are both hollow earlier, that is not saying they are not both incredibly fun. I love both of these games but just don't understand why Bannerlord gets so much hate. Submitted July 28, 2021 at 04:59AM by MasterOogwaysPetRat https://ift.tt/3rDNqJa

Friendly NPC AI is terrible

An update the AI of friendly units would be great. Get downed while attacking a castle. And the second I do it all goes to sh*t. Units splitting up. Running into walls. Single units running into crowds without even swinging and instantly dying. Yet enemy AI seems smart enough not to use basic tactics. submitted by /u/StevenT475 [link] [comments]

What's everybody's experiences with the loyalty of mercenary/minor clans?

I'd kinda like to know if what happens in every one of my games happens in yours, which is: 1. You are curbstomping some major faction, but their mercs don't defect like you'd expect them to (because why not join a winning side?) 2. After I've beaten up on the mercs a million times, released their captives and recruited their troops as prisoners. Eventually, I will decide to recruit them as mercs. 3. Within a really short period of time, they always accept another contract from another faction. I think it's because they're not actually winning any renown, so not getting paid? submitted by /u/trolleyproblems [link] [comments]

Hello, I know in the past that you could level medicine if you used tournement arrows, but I can’t find them in any shops. Am I just retarded and unable to find them or have they removed them from shops? Also are there any other ways to lvl it other than battles submitted by /u/mikk010g [link] [comments]

how to wipe out a kingdom?

I went to war with the northern empire because im supposed to reunite the empire or something and take over empire lands so I took all of the lands, convinced 80% of the clans to join me. and guess what he does. he hires EVERY SINGLE MERCENARY IN THE GAME. no clue how he affords this with no fiefs and his whole family is in prison. Anyone know why this workshop isn't working?

It's an Olive Press in Charas. Charas has 2 villages and both supply olives. It has money, it has the resource but it's "last run" in the clan index says "14 days ago". There are no other olive presses in the town. The town loyalty is low but since you can have workshops in enemy territory, so that really shouldn't matter. submitted by /u/Flamecoat_wolf [link] [comments]

Can’t call companions to start their own armies in beta 1.6

Just got beta 1.6 last night and started a campaign. In regular 1.5.1 I could tell companions who had been released from captivity to go start their own parties and recruit without having to find them in taverns first. In 1.6 I can’t. They have to be taken to my party first. Anyone know a fix? submitted by /u/SkinnyDick696969 [link] [comments]

Characters not aging bug

I'm currently at year 1088 and my main character is still age 22. Ages of other characters: Brother (25), Abagai (23), Karith (36). Is anyone else having this issue or know a fix for it? submitted by /u/Cal-Culator [link] [comments]

Am I the only one not getting any defensive siege after 300 hrs into the game?

I spent like 200 hrs a year ago, decided I have tested everything I want to see in the EA and wait for full released. There were quite a few bugs then, skill system wasn't working for the most part, siege AI was a total mess, but since it was still early on EA I decided not to be super nitpicking and hope for the best. A year later, game still in EA, but the skill rework is done and AI finally learn to climb the siege tower like 3 yo kid in the park rather than absolute newborn infant, so I decided to give it ago. I would say I'm happy to see the changes there, not sure if it's worth of 1 year of work, but I still appreciated. If it's potentially be the base game for thousands of hour mod play through, I could wait longer until the full release no problem. However, I was not pleased what isn't change. That is the defensive siege. For me, defensive siege is the MOST enjoyable experience in Mount&Blade. I love defend a town with Vaegir Marksmen, sieging the wal...

getting feifs

im allied with the north empire and ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS when i take a castle/city when they chose who gets it, only 3 of the same nobles apear, and none of them are me, at first i though it was beacuse i had "to many feifs" (i have 3 cities and 2 castles) but after taking 5 castles and 4 cities and not apearing in any of the candidates for ownership i decided to look at the nobles that always apeared and they had the same or more fiefs than me, thats why i need to ask, do i have extreme bad luck or do i need to do something to increase the chances of getting a feif (im 100 relation with the ruler clan) submitted by /u/alapma [link] [comments]

Here is an image of an idea I had on spears made with advanced visualization software. If the backs of friendly troops would get a smaller hitbox, spearmen from deeper down the formation would be able to use their spears as well. Thoughts?

Smithing Companion

I've just found a smithing Companion to add to my party. I've been the resident Smith for some time and wanted another to delegate some stuff. Problem is that no matter what I have him forge, refine or smelt his smithing skill isn't going up by even 1 point....he's still at 62....what to do ? submitted by /u/arjunusmaximus [link] [comments]

Warband modules stuttering like crazy

Every module I came around in warband lags like crazy whenever I either zoom out of the world map or even just playing in a forest, did change the 906 kbs files into 1kb ones, and it happens in small battles too. It would just stutter like crazy, even mods that I played before I did a full fresh reset on my PC works like shit nowadays. idk if it's about my drivers or not that the game stutters from time to time, sometimes its smooth but most of the time its laggy, I heard the ingame audio being distorted. I tried looking for fixes online but they never actually matched my problem. Submitted July 26, 2021 at 10:27AM by DestinychangerXV https://ift.tt/3kVe0ft

Mod Monday

Welcome to Mod Monday! In the comments of this post, a list of mods that have been created or updated in the past week can be found. This list is currently restricted to just those posted on Nexus Mods, but we plan to expand this to include other websites (such as ModDB) and the Steam workshop as well. This week there are 13 new mods that have been published and 37 mods have been updated. If you have created or updated a mod, note that you do not need to ask us to include it in the list, it is automatically compiled. If you published your mod on Nexus in the past week and can't find it here however, contact /u/MitchPTI and he'll have a look into why that might be. submitted by /u/MB2BannerBot [link] [comments]

Should I?

I just had a war with the sultanate and well it was short and no one got any land but I was able to beat and wipe out Sultan Hakim’s army. But the Nords have gone to war with the Khan and Praven and other castles are vulnerable. Would I look to warlike? I just want to take advantage of the collapse of the Nords. submitted by /u/Lil_peeley05 [link] [comments]
