Murder Plot in the land of Vlandia

In my current WarSails playthrough, I spent 10 years mastering trade to level 330, as a rich independent landholder, I decided to join Vlandia. Dethert is now 61 years old, my influence outranks his clan’s influence, I have a great relationship with all of the vassals because of donating prisoners. FYI

If you are currently a mercenary for a kingdom and you do the Escort Merchant Caravan missions that counts as a "notable event" and adds the gold bonus that you normally get for defeating lords, because you're killing bandits that are attacking something considered that realms.

Probably obvious but hoped to help someone out.
