Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. Are there any mods that add a 'Hitstop' to combat?

I've played a lot of M&B, and I love the swordplay. That being said, I'm interested in seeing what it would be like to have a fight where the sword actually feels like it's cutting through armor as opposed to butter. If there aren't any, does anybody know which files I would need to adjust to create my own mod?
