And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. /u/KingHarlausOfficial, ruler of the Swadians and owner of vast butter stores, has declared that he is to wage a fiery crusade against the Sarranids. After a longstanding war with both the Sarranids and Rhodoks, Harlaus believes he can take Jelkala, an ancient holding of the Rhodoks, and strike back at both. He plans to march forth on Jelkala with an army of heavily armoured knights backed up by under-equipped yet zealous peasants. /u/SultanHakimOfficial has lead the Sarranids in defence of two separate crusades and returned the victor in both. However, those crusades were lead by inexperienced Rhodok tactician /u/Lord_Kastor, and /u/KingHarlausOfficial ‘s army may prove a greater challenge. /u/SultanHakimOfficial plans to respond to the assault with a well-rounded force of Jarid Throwers, Shortbows and Mamlukes-In-Training.
When asked to elaborate on the reasons for this unexpected crusade, most Swadians were non-committal in their answers. However, some included mumblings of a failed Swadian plot to steal prized Sarranid mummified sheep. Confused by the skirmishes that broke out during the heist, /u/Lord_Kastor, believing the sheep were alive (and valuable), has decided to intervene on the side of the Sarranids.

Welcome to the 16th Calradic Campaign! This event will see the invading Swadians attempt to defeat the Sarranids in the field. Should the Swadians prevail, they will attack the Sarranid city of Jelkala. Should the Sarranids win the field, they will push onto the Swadian city Uxkhal and besiege it. /u/KingHarlausOfficial will be leading the Swadians and /u/SultanHakimOfficial will be leading the Sarranids. If one of them cannot attend, a marshal will be appointed.
To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join the Discord voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required.
