I know there is (was?) a mod there you could have like a personal guard of 10 units in every battle. But is there any working mod out there that fix so you can have that, but also decide on your own what units shall be in it? Before anything else I should mention I'm running warband on Linux, I'd use windows but it screwed up and I can't afford a new copy.
So I tried installing the sands of faith mod today, and everything loaded and ran correctly, except all of the terrain during battles was completely blank white. It also happened to the majority of ground textures inside of towns.
I looked up the issue and apparently it's specific to non-windows users, and it happens with other mods as well.
Is there any way for me to fix this? Even if I can't get these textures to load correctly is there a chance I could replace them with the vanilla textures so I can at least see the ground I'm walking on. Any help would be appreciated, I really like this mod and I'd hate to have to delete it.
