Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. [PoP]Storing soldiers in castle?

So I'm getting close to getting a castle, and wonder how exactly it works as far as soldiers go. If I put my men in my castle, can I collect them at any time? Do I need to pay wages still?

Also, can I put soldiers in allied castles for same effect?
