Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. [POP] Stops being fun when you become a vassal?

Hullo, I've been enjoing this mod a lot. But I find as soon I become a vassal and get my own village the fun starts going away. The village is constantly raided, and it doesnt give me any money, instead of the nice mercenary payout I got beforehand.

I need help, how do you enjoy this part of the game? Should I just go back to being a merc?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
