Hi, ı am trying to understand dds files and models. But that thing is turning into Gandalf for no reason. I make a model and tried it, it works perfect with other dds but when ı put my own dds file it is GANDALF. I tried to dxdt1, dxt3,5,7 etc. I tried just rgb or rgbe, rgbs whatever. I tried using another programs to cretae a dds file but. I played with shaders and metarial flags on open brf. Nothing is working ı am trying to talk with ai about 10+ hour but none of them found a solution. I have been playing 1257 for some while now (I've played this save on/off for years). By now I have helped Curonians pretty much destroy the Teutonic order of Livonia, Samagotians and some other minor factions.
I hold the 2 major cities, 2 castles and bunch of fiefs (everything upgraded and not raided in years), I've got more renown than any other in my faction, high honor, friendly with everyone (~80%+) and 500 000 gold in my pocket. Army of about 2k elite men, hundreds of elite cavalry.
SO! I want to take over! :D As I understand, even in AD 1257 you can't become king of an existing faction? I tried starting civil war, but pretty much everyone jumped to my throat. I can hold of 1:40 in a castle defense, but I can't hold against ~30k soldiers. So can't I marry a daughter of a king or smthn? Or just have other lords pick me as their king?
What would be my best option, if there is one?
