Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Any game recommendations like Mount and Blade Bannerlord/warband etc?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any games with a similar concept to the mount and blade series? So like, battles in first/third person, you can take over places/build an empire or similar?

Also any in a more modern era? Freeman guerilla warfare a few years ago was looking promising, but that's been abandoned by the devs... Just come across total conflict resistance which seems promising when it releases too.

Any others you can recommend? Any in the last few years? (Doesn't need to be modern combat with automatic rifles etc)

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
