Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Should I grab the dlc or actually completely a campaign first?

Grabbed the game on sale a couple weeks ago and have been hooked. Figured i wouldnt worry about dlc at first and at least do one campaign first. I'm now needing/wanting to restart my third attempt and wondering if i should just grab the dlc now instead of waiting?
