Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. What makes Inventory show all possible items?

A few months ago I was messing around with something and changed it the inventory to give a list of all possible inventory items when opened. You can just take whatever you want and go on with your day.

That was a few patches ago and I completely forgot what makes it do that and how to make it stop(It lags the game a bit). Anyone have any idea of what causes this?
