What the hell did they do to Fennagan?

Bro used to have 275 in every combat stat and now he has… 50 two handed? 120 athletics? He and Caladog were the gatekeepers of Battanian tournaments, now they’re just battanian recruits with fancy armor. Arwa gutted, Corein gutted, every tournament is weenie hut junior? Recruiting unique spawns Perisno

I read somewhere here that It is possible to recruit unique spawns leaders when they are captured by other lords and we free them.

I started looking around, but didn't find any of them captured since the beginning of the game. I started to have doubts, I have saved a game before a unique spawn (Zeladeck) losed a battle, and he was not been caught in ~30 losses.

Is there something I am missing? Can they be caught some other way? Are some unique spawns capturable but not others? Are the odds just very low?
