Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Starting My own kingdom

I own two cities that make around 3/5K each and two traders that make 4k in total or should I wait till I have more city's and/or castles also should I do this when the khuzaits are weakend from all the ridiculous wars they are starting since I am a vassal of them because leaving their kingdom with those two city's in my control will make them declare war on me personally
