Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. What are the types of wanderers that can have a high trade skill I have none available.

I think its "swift" "spicevendor" and "bitterthought"

My brother has a very high trade skill but apparently family cant head a caravan.

Am I just shit out of luck of getting any caravans running? I have heard sometimes new wanderers spawn, but Im already 400 days in and I have seen none that can trade well.
