Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. I’ve recently arrived back into the game with the release of Bannerlord Online mod. I’m introducing my friends to the game for the first time.

I’m looking for an updated list of the best units per role since a lot of the guides and forums seem outdated with where the game is now.

Best Heavy Cavalry?

Best Archers?

Best Crossbows?

Best Horse Archers?

Best Heavy Infanty?

Best Anti-Cavalry Infantry?
