Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

What is the objective of this game?

This isn't usually a question I need to ask about a game, but I'm a little perplexed. I've probably played 10 hours of Bannerlord. The main quest was progressing nicely, but then it jumped from assemble the banner thingy to "unify two-thirds of the Empire".

I've got a tidy little force of 40 dudes and I bought a brewery so I'm revenue-positive. I signed a mercenary contract with Empress Rhagaea.

But what do I do now? I feel like I'm kind of at loose ends. I can keep winning tournaments and murdering looters, but obviously I'm meant to do something next.

Also, what are the victory conditions for this game? I feel like most people who have played it also played the first game, so "how to win" is kind of understood. Or maybe I missed some key bits of the tutorial, but I don't really know what to do next.

All advice and tips welcome!

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
