Tactics to win any battle with aserai as southern empire

Make a elite cataphract force of 50 than charge them to their horse division. Elite cataphracts are superior in all ways. Then, charge the horses on to the pikeman and archers then charge the soldiers and arrows. Dont forget that these has to be mostly legionaries. Can't get tier 5 blades in smithing

Basically title, for my last 2 playthroughs, I can't seem to get tier 5 blade parts for smithing for the life of me. I'm smelting 60k worth swords, or for example if I'm searching for the "Mountain Blade" part, I smelt "Battanian Mountain Sword"s, things that match etc. but no, I'm not getting any blades, best I can get is tier 4 blades, any workaround? I've tried smelting/crafting things other than swords too, although not excessively. Submitted April 01, 2022 at 12:45AM by UngratefulGarbage https://ift.tt/zVEPfwg

Is their a mod to fix hits not registering when swing speed its high?

I use kaoses tweaks and have XP up to 10x and have seen an issue multiple times with the last perks of one handed and two handed skills with my swing speed in the hundreds, this has made hits not register and the only mod I have seen for to fix this is not for 1.7.0 (The game version I am using). Is their a mod that fixes this or will I have to manually fix it? submitted by /u/Mycario [link] [comments]

How good is Bannerlord right now?

Making Companions into lords is overrated

Only four would be even worth considering at all because of their personalities: Matheld - Martial Ymira - Good Natured Firentis - Upstanding Jeremus - Good Natured The others have shitty personalities and will easily betray you as soon as they get the chance. First of all, neither Jeremus nor Ymira are nobles, and making them into vassals will cost you -2-5 relations with every lord on the map (even your other companion vassals). Secondly, one of them should be your medic, and you'd be insane to give away your 10 surgery companion for the sake of one more vassal. Thirdly, Matheld dislikes both of them, so it is impossible to keep them all in the party together to level them up enough. You will need to level them up a lot too. Each level only gives them 15 renown, which is pathetic. At level 40, they will only have 600 renown, when you can easily find lords with over 1000 renown. Which would you rather have, a level 40 companion or a shitty 600 renown vassal? Just do yourse...

Killing a entire clan.

What happens if I were to execute all my prisoners if the clan? It's only a minor clan and I haven't really executed anyone before. If I kill them all does that clan just completely get destroyed to never be seen again? A trick I just learned to get hunsphree and other high tier items

I don’t know if this is common knowledge or not but I haven’t seen anyone mention this before. I had a hunsphree I got very early on in the game, and I loved riding it but after a battle one day it died or became a lame horse or whatever. I finally had time to run around and do a bunch of tournaments hoping I could win another one, but apparently they are rare prizes so I wasn’t having any luck. Then I realized that the amount of lords affects the tier and value of the prize that is offered in the tournaments. So I called an army of about 10 lords and went from city to city doing tournaments, I got hunsphree on my second one. The other prizes I got were all tier 5 weapons. On my last one I called 6 more lords to make it 16 so we could have a full bracket, and it was still tier 5 stuff so I’m not sure if you can get tier 6 items as a prize. submitted by /u/Aldo_The_Apache_ [link] [comments]

Need help getting my wife...

I married Siga and I "think" she is moving from Omor where she was to Dunglanys for some reason. In my clan screen it says she's last seen at Dunglanys but she's not there and it says holding. Problem is, I sort of turned game on and off unwillingly because of mod problem crashed my game and she is not appearing at Dunglanys after months in game time. Is there any console command to teleport her into my party or to Dunglanys or something? Edit: NVM game must have realized that an important NPC's gone or something. Confused about trade 300

Hi I’m newer to banner lord (75 hours) and I am confused on trade 300 because when I got 10 in social and 5 skill it placed my learning limit at 240. Armies keep cancelling sieges or just not starting them.

I have had a problem were armies would start a siege wait a second then cancel it after that they would start it again. The other similar problem is that armies would start a siege build stuff but never actually begin siege battle. It has became very annoying as no kingdom would siege or expand including my own. I do have a couple mods they are addonays troop changer (No idea if it is spelt correctly) butterlib, diplomacy, harmony, Mod config menu, UI extenderEX, calradian factions enhanced, custom battle, custom spawns, Improved garrisons, kaoses tweaks, Loot everyone, Loot lord, Open Source Armory, Swadian armory, Vaegir armory and vlandian knight lances submitted by /u/Mycario [link] [comments]

Peace Tribute Removal

Any way to remove tributes when making peace? Any specific mods? Constantly at war and making peace always ends with me paying tributes and I think it is a big reason 9/10 vassals are “very poor” despite many of them holding at least one town and a few castles. I am not sure what to do about this and it’s becoming a problem because vassals are not recruiting more than 20-30 soldiers and it’s making the wars much more difficult. Any help would be appreciated! submitted by /u/AstronauticalGiraffe [link] [comments]

Mod Load Order Help

I haven't played since 1.5.5, and even had it set to stay there so I wouldn't have to re-mod Bannerlord if I went back to it. However, I decided to start playing again today and re-mod it anyways. I don't remember the load orders, and there seem to be zero resources online featuring a guideline on the order of mods. Like Resources -> Overhauls -> etc. Any links I find are for 1.5-1.6.5 versions. My game is set at 1.7.0. I tried downloading only mods that worked with 1.7.0 and the respective versions, ignoring 1.7.1 or 1.7.2 files. I have the Bannerlord Mod Launcher, which doesn't seem to have been updated since last I played. When I click 'Sort,' it doesn't even do anything. All it does is move MCM between Sandbox and StoryMode when I put it with Harmony, ButterLib, and UIExtenderEx. I know how to mod, and I did make sure that everything was compatible where information was provided and from experience, but I don't know what to do. I tr...

Tactics in battles?

I just basically hit F6 at the start to let the AI/sargeants take over control of their respective groups, then I just javelin the enemy heavy cav with my char or ride around the bulk of the enemy infantry tossing javelins at them or do hit-and-runs with the heavy executioner axe. Is Bannerlord Worth It?

I’ve played MaB and Warband both on PC and Xbox, and I loosely followed the development of Bannerlord until maybe a year ago. Is it worth playing in its current state? Is there enough content. Last time I checked on the game it has certain content completely unavailable and not implemented yet. Am I going to be disappointed and better off replaying Warband, or should I give it a shot? submitted by /u/tfenske [link] [comments]

Please bring back old troop management

I want the old grouping back. It's now stupidified and takes away any creativity when it comes to battles. I used to have my own bodyguard group, long ranged archers, medium ranged archer, and different types of INF and cav in different groups. If anything, there should've been more groups added and have both the systems be available, rather than completely removing the old one that promoted freedom and creativty for this new, stupidified and boring one. submitted by /u/Belierand [link] [comments]

mercenary lifestyle

I was planning on roleplaying a real bas**rd mercenary clan. I would hire my roughly 80 horse archers to the highest bidder, switching sides whenever it suits me best. I would raid villages and caravans, hunt down peasants, and enagage with enemy lords only at very opportune moments. Ultimate goal would perhaps be a single castle as a home base of sorts. No vassalage, just mercenary contracts. Propably no companions and additional parties either. I was wondering whether an extended mercenary career is viable or enjoyable in the current version? Can you impact the overall power relations and war outcomes by raiding isolated villages and attacking peasants and caravans? How would you go about grabbing a castle for yourself? submitted by /u/dirk_solomon [link] [comments]

Knudarr is the Homie

Recently I have been playing a pretty laid back playthrough of Warband since I got it on console and since I don't have the PC it was what I could get but it wasn't really a bad purchase. I started playing my character Lexios. Backstory wise he is Swadian. Well I started and did a ton of tournaments for a hot minute, helped lords fight bandits and refine my army. After a while Ragnar invited me as a vassal and gave me Mechin as my holding. I started focusing on my holdings a lot this playthrough as I don't have any plans of becoming king or anything like that. Well Jarl Knudarr is my neighbor at Knudarr castle and since joining I've had a ton of interaction with the Jarl, especially since his castles so close. Our relationship didn't grow until the last long war period we had. We fought like three different factions for a minute, at the same time as well. It exhausted a lot of the lord's so I kind of just spent the end of the war saving the kingdom so it got ...

Is there a bit more peaceful way to finish a kingdom than the chopchop?

I went to war with Aserai and took down all their fief and also turned every Aserai vessel into mine. It was done rather easily. Now the problem is the leader clan. They run around the former Aserai area with like 10~30 troops and get captured from time to time by guards and looters and stuff. I want my back to be clear and safe before going to war with South Empire but don't want to start the chopchop... Anyway to settle this down or something more peacefully? Me again.. help?

Well, things have quite changed since day one of this game. Many in game years have passed, I am one of the most trusted members of the western empire and own Onira, Myzea, Saneopa, Lycaron, Argoron, Syronea, Phycaon, Danustica and Morenia Castle. I am currently losing money (12-15k) a day. The reason is because I failed the “conspiracy” missions and have been at war with Battania, Vlandia and the Aserai for what seems to be forever in game now and we have hired 15K’s worth of mercenaries. (Not worried because I have millions, that’s not my problem.) The problem I need help with is this; I am playing on the lowest difficulty there is (I’m new so I didn’t want there to be a huge challenge.) and I can amass armies of 1400-2000 easily.. however I go on runs where I kill thousands of enemies, take 3-4 towns and 2-3 castles, have to disband because I’m out of men or influence, then the enemy (Usually Vlandia) who just took the biggest loss of men since WW2 comes back nearly instantly with...

How can I tweak the siege defender/attacker ratio?

I know that the defenders (for some reason) have a number advantage during sieges and that it's an intended feature but it just doesn't make sense to me. Is there a mod or do you know a file I can edit to tweak it myself? For example, if I'm attacking with 1400 against 700 I want the siege to be a 2:1 ratio at whatever battle size I'm playing at. The vanilla spawns you in with something like 250 vs 350 at 600 battle size. Again, I know that it's intended but it just doesn't make sense to me. I can "easily" fix this by of course tweaking the battle size and just straight on having a 1400vs700 battle but I don't have the most powerful computer and don't like playing with 3 FPS. The reason it doesn't make sense to me is because the defenders already have an advantage which is the castle and the whole point of sieges is that you need a number advantage to overwhelm it or you lose and you shouldn't have attacked it. It's essentially a...

Theory about Sarranids in Warband

More theories! The Sarranids are actually Mamlukes, not the local Aserai. In Warband, native Aserai are nearly extinct, since Mamlukes have become increasingly predominant throughout time. In Bannerlord, the Aserai have two troop trees: the native Aserai, which starts with Tribesmen; and the Mamlukes, which starts with Mamluke Soldiers. For those who do not know, Mamlukes are actually slave soldiers of other ethnicities, meaning they are not Aserais. Based on the real-life Mamluke Sultanate, Mamluke troops of the Ayyubid ruler as-Salih Ayyub succeeded to usup power. The Mamluke Sultanate was then formed, ruled by the mamluke military caste, with the sultan and the emirs at the helm. Similiarly, the Sarranid Sultanate's ruler is a Sultan, the lords are called Emirs, and the top tier troop of the faction are called Mamlukes. My theory is that Aserai mamluke regiments (perhaps primarily from the Banu Sarran clan) overthrew the Aserai and established the Sarranid Sultanate, similar...

Personal Traits and Sales

Just a quickie here. Say I wanted to upgrade a smith of mine to an artisan smith instead of a practical one. That skill is a personal skill which halves the trade penalty for selling smithed weapons, whereas practical smithy would half their stamina spent smithing. Not the primary smith however, this smith is a smelt and refiner. Has anyone made persistent world Multiplayer mod?

One of the main reasons why i bought bannerlord was to play the persistent world mod, i miss being able to play doctor or princess roles in the Multiplayer. Role-playing worked so well in persistent world. Everything just clicked, i remember always working my way up to getting the wedding dress in the PW multiplayer because it was the only way i could look like a princess. I've played Bannerlord Online mod awhile back, it was okay, but didn't had the same experience at the time. Bannerlord Frustrations

Heya, it’s me again. I just set up a fully upgraded, mix matched army. Against 200 normal battainians. I was playing on conquering three first, starting an independent kingdom, and then snowballing. With only 1200 days left to beat the campaign, and a lot of land to conquer. I was feeling confident, with more money than I could ever spend. I proceeded to get absolutely destroyed… Yeah, I really don’t know how this Campaign is possible. It’s hard to find a good guide anywhere online. I’m starting to think the game is designed more so around being a vassal. I looked around on Reddit for guides, and I only found people complaining saying the Campaign can only beaten with mods and such. Well, I don’t know, I’ve put so many hours into this campaign already and right now I’m basically just venting at how stressful it was to see my army melt against the enemy. Back to the drawing board I guess… submitted by /u/Forsaken_Rutabaga463 [link] [comments]

Tournament Champion Should Be Buffed

Tournaments are no doubt an easy way to gain denars and renown in the early game. However I feel that having the title of Champion is underwhelming in terms of rewards. It gives only 1 renown per day at the moment. The player usually has to win at least 35 tournaments to achieve the Champion title which is a significant investment into tournaments. I think the reward for holding that title should be more beneficial to the player. 1 renown per day is almost meaningless especially as the player advances to higher clan tiers. I think 3 renown per day would be a better reward for grinding out tournaments to retain the title of Champion. What do you guys think? Long Term Bannerlord Strategy

Planning out my long term start for this game. I played warband and going into this game for the first time I can tell it’s vastly different. I was planning on conquering the world, (as ya do) for my first play through. A noble knight-like character. Anyways, my plan is to go and fight in tournaments, send the money on workshops, then build up an army to start taking castles. But unlike Warband, I highly doubt it will be that easy. So, any info you can give me and what seeds I should plant? My army is very small, only 27, as I want to make daily money not lose it. I never liked being a vassal in warband, but I’m getting the feeling this game really wants you to be a vassal. I’m probably wrong. This month we'll be playing 1866 , a mod set during the wild west. The event will be an assortment of maps and gamemodes. To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required. How do you erase a kingdom?

I've taken every single fief of the northern empire and have like 90% of the northern empire's commanders as my prisoner. But the war is still going on. What do I need to do? Except chop-choping their heads. submitted by /u/Apraxas88 [link] [comments]

These towns are giving me the Novigrad feels, we really need more meaningful in-town narratives!

FYI

If you are currently a mercenary for a kingdom and you do the Escort Merchant Caravan missions that counts as a "notable event" and adds the gold bonus that you normally get for defeating lords, because you're killing bandits that are attacking something considered that realms. Probably obvious but hoped to help someone out. submitted by /u/ZeGreatBobinski [link] [comments]

Holding land as a minor faction: Balanced option or exploit?

I have been wondering: Is holding land as a minor faction (without being in a kingdom at all, be it as vassal or king) an intended gameplay feature? It has one major advantage: Nobody will decleare war ON you, but you can still attack others and later make peace. So war is entirely on your own terms. (Maybe this is an oversight and will get patched?) But there are also drawbacks compared to being a proper kingdom, that somewhat balance it out: - no policies - no armies - no recruitment of additional clans (you can still have your own clan parties though) View Poll submitted by /u/Karazack [link] [comments]

Warband Launcher wont Launch

The launcher for Warband isint launching, only advice I could find was to uninstall the game and delete all the files then reinstall it but that didnt work. Anyone here had a similar problem or know how to fix it? Submitted March 14, 2022 at 01:20AM by MoskauMaster https://ift.tt/zuFLvb2

Game crashes when I attack Amprela. Anyone had this problem before ? The same thing happened with Argoron but it never loaded a "map" like this one. Maybe the map is broken in the game files or something ?

If I own settlements at Clan level and then join a kingdom as a mercenary do I risk losing my settlements when I choose to leave?

As it says above, I've been playing as a mercenary jumping between the highest paying paying kingdoms. I saw a couple of rebelling settlements between contacts and seized my opportunity to get some land but am unsure how that will work when joining/leaving a kingdom? submitted by /u/Hot-Yogurt-closet [link] [comments]

Is there a mod that makes it hard to level up t4-t5 units like in Viking Conquest?

As the title says using RBM with DRM, once you have all elite troops in your army you just steamroll all other armies. My 200 elite cataps just steamrolled a 1k army twice and just steamrolled all towns and castles in vlandia in one war with only 50+ losses on my end. I like the what VC did where t4-t5 units are really strong and really hard to kill but very hard to train, on my 100 hours of campaign I only had 50+ elite units and their performance are worth it as they are very hard to kill. The same with the enemy elites, killing them are very satisfying. submitted by /u/RamosClinton [link] [comments]

This week, after months of playing, I finally managed to start my kingdom and get my first throne. Here's Queen Xyza and Governor Caelin looking awesome!

How do I make money early game?

Just bought the game and looking for some help. I know that caravans/workshops are a great way to get money but I can't seem to get above the first 10k, let alone 20k. I am currently trading (buying low and selling high) but it doesn't seem to be lucrative. And I can't seem to catch bandits efficiently to farm them. How the hell am I supposed to make money? submitted by /u/Lundeclees [link] [comments]

Mods that you wish that continued development - ANY M&B version

I personally miss a mod named Hegemony. It was a mod that was in the beta version of original M&B that was a full conversion mod. It contained different strategies that you needed to use based on the faction you had. Different factions had different type of towns, gear was all done up to the style of 268 BC or so, map was done (Ireland - East India) It reminded me a LOT like Rome: Total War but you ran as a single person. https://www.moddb.com/mods/hegemony-268-bc What was/is your favorite? submitted by /u/Ragni [link] [comments]

What's the point of 1h weapons?

Yeah I know they can be used with a shield but like, the majority of a shield usage is to not get shot up, and you can just use a shield empty handed on the approach and switch to a 2hander in melee instead. On horseback they are terrible because of their poor reach and damage, on foot a shield and 2hander are often better, and even in sieges where short weapon are preferable you can make some very short 2hander axe and go to town that way. I'm I missing something about 1hander? submitted by /u/Terkmc [link] [comments]

Lek The Sentient Sturgian

So I've had two different playthrough's so far in two different updates that were months apart, and so far I've come to the realization Lek is an absolute madlad. In my first campaign, this man didn't have a concept of siege equipment and opted only for ladders REGARDLESS of the size of the castle or town. He never died or got captured and always managed to sneak away. In my second and current playthrough, Lek married Rhagaea, and became the head of the clan after she died of "natural cause". This man has survived 35 years and switches up his fighting style between archer and infantry when we are in sieges together. I don't know if this in normal, for most characters, but this is my instances of Lek being odd so far. submitted by /u/Odd-Spell2129 [link] [comments]

Defeating a kingdom?

How do you defeat a kingdom? I'm dealing with this right now. Khurzait have nothing left. All nobles are imprisoned by one kingdom or another. I've got 10, Aserai have 3, and south kingdom has the last 2. Other than the babies, everyone has been captured. I want to atleast end the war, but I'm not going end this war if its going to result in me paying tribute. Is there anything I can do about this? https://imgur.com/a/c0mMpvt submitted by /u/nonapus89 [link] [comments]

Attribute points and levelling hardcap

Trying to minmax a build for a new campaign. How many attribute points do you need to invest to get to 330? I know that 5 focus points and low main attribute is enough to get to ~150 without any issues, but is 10 attribute points a must to get to 330? (with 5 focus points obviously) submitted by /u/wavy4n6 [link] [comments]

What happens to your stuff when you die?

What happens to items that you have in your city stash? What happens to the items your character had equipped? What happens to the rest of their inventory? What happens to your companion's stuff + troops when they die? I'm hoping it's all as simple as "it goes to your heir" but looking at other threads, people seem to be guessing and they're all at least a 1.5 years old. Does anyone know for sure as of the current patch? submitted by /u/Eprico47 [link] [comments]
