I know I'm late to the new PoP Update but....a quick question.

I'm having troubles with this new update. It states on ModDB that this new update is save-game compatible. But, when I installed it, and tried to use an old save ( from 3.7 I think) it was very glitchy, so this seemingly isn't true. When I start a new save, it works perfectly. What could I be doing wrong?? I installed it from the Steam Workshop...

Help?
